Killswitch Engage Tour 2026

Killswitch Engage emerged from Westfield, Massachusetts in 1999, quickly solidifying a lineup that would define their sound: Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel on guitars, Mike D'Antonio on bass, and Justin Foley on drums. Their musical identity is a robust fusion of metalcore, characterized by a dynamic interplay between aggressive, down-tuned guitar riffs and melodic, often soaring, vocal passages. This duality is a hallmark, shifting seamlessly from guttural screams to clean, emotive singing, underpinned by precise, driving rhythms. The guitar work frequently incorporates intricate melodic leads alongside powerful breakdowns, creating a sonic landscape that is both heavy and accessible, a formula that has resonated deeply within the metal community.
